THE AMENDMENT TO REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF TRADE
No. 14/M-DAG/PER/3/2007
ON
STANDARDIZATION OF SERVICES IN THE TRADE SECTOR AND SUPERVISION OVER COMPULSORY INDONESIAN NATIONAL STANDARDS (SNI) OF TRADED GOODS AND SERVICES

THE MINISTER OF TRADE,

Considering:

• a. that to create a framework of enhancing the effectiveness of supervision over the quality of imported goods that are already subject to compulsory SNI, it is deemed necessary to improve Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 14/M-DAG/PER/3/2007 on Standardization of Service in the Trade Sector and Supervision over Compulsory Indonesian National Standard (SNI) of Traded Goods and Services;
• b. that based on the consideration as described in paragraph a above, it is necessary to stipulate a regulation of the Minister of Trade;

In view of:

Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 14/M-DAG/PER/3/2007 on Standardization of Service in the Trade Sector and Supervision over Compulsory Indonesian National Standard (SNI) of Traded Goods and Services;

HAS DECIDED:

THE REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF TRADE ON THE AMENDMENT TO REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF TRADE No. 14/M-DAG/PER/3/2007 ON STANDARDIZATION OF SERVICES IN THE TRADE SECTOR AND SUPERVISION OVER COMPULSORY INDONESIAN NATIONAL STANDARDS (SNI) OF TRADED GOODS AND SERVICES

Article I

To amend the provision of Article 17 of Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 14/M-DAG/PER/3/2007 on Standardization of Service in the Trade Sector and Supervision over Compulsory Indonesian National Standard (SNI) of Traded Goods and Services so as to read follows:

"(1) SPB containing NPB where of shall be owned by business communities undertaking the import once the relevant import goods through sea, land or air transport.

(2) NPB as meant in paragraph (1) shall be valid for 3 (three) years and extendable."

Article II

With the enforcement of this regulation , all other provisions in Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 14/M-DAG/PER/3/2007 on Standardization of Service in the Trade Sector and Supervision over Compulsory Indonesian National Standard (SNI) of Traded Goods and Services shall remain effective.

The regulation shall come into force as from September 7, 2007.

For public cognizance, the regulation shall be announced in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
